What is collected

When you use the quote form, the site collects what you enter: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or town, the type of service and the details you describe about the mold or water problem. When you call the site's number, your phone number and what you say on the call may be received.

Like most websites, the site also receives basic technical information such as browser type, device, pages viewed and approximate location based on your IP address.

How the form works

The quote form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, is sending it. Cloudflare may process technical signals from your browser for that check. Submitted requests are delivered by email to the site operator through a form-delivery service.

How it is used and shared

• To get you quotes. Your request is shared with independent mold inspection and remediation companies that serve your area, so they can contact you about it. Those companies may pay Durham NC Mold Remediation to receive requests or calls, and they use your information under their own privacy practices.
• To follow up. With the consent you give on the form, the site operator or the matched companies may call, text or email you about your request. Calls and texts from the site identify Durham NC Mold Remediation, and requests to stop are honored.
• To run the site. Technical data helps keep the site working, block spam and show which pages are useful.

Durham NC Mold Remediation does not sell your personal information. It is shared only with the companies that may quote your job, with service providers that help run the site, or when the law requires it.

Phone calls

The site's local 919 number is not answered by Durham NC Mold Remediation. Calls are routed through a call-routing provider to an independent mold company. The company that receives the call may record it under its own practices. The routing provider may keep basic call records, such as the calling number, time and length of the call.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to see how visitors use it, such as which pages are read and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology and processes data under Google's own privacy terms. You can block cookies in your browser or use Google's opt-out browser add-on.

How long it is kept

Quote requests are kept as long as needed to pass them along, follow up and keep basic business records, and then deleted.

Your choices

• Stop contact. Reply STOP to a text from the site, or tell the caller you want no more calls.
• Delete your request. Send a note through the quote form with the same name and phone number and ask for deletion. The site's copy will be deleted. Companies that already received your request keep their own records, so contact them as well.
• Ask a question. Use the same form and say it's a privacy question.

Security

Reasonable steps are taken to protect the information you send, but no website or email system is perfectly secure. Please don't put bank, card or Social Security numbers in the form.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on a home, condo or rental. It does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Governing law and changes

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. If it changes, the date at the top changes too. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated policy. See also the terms of use.

Durham NC Mold Remediation is an independent quote service and is not affiliated with any mold inspection or remediation company.
